March: In Like a Lion, Out Like a MAN?

I was digging in my purse today and saw something Molly doodled on the back of an offering envelope in church. It was a joyous springtime tribute to March.

See anything interesting?

Looks like something other than ROSES is coming up this time of year.

Oh my.

Thanks to your generous contributions, our Well Fund is up to $467! I have faith that we can get to $5,000. Please check out our donation page and save lives.

I don't know what you are talking about! I mean, I am so pure that they all look like flowers to me! :)

Ha! Do you read Carolyn Online? Her daughter draws "those" ALL the time. Meaning them for something else of course - but still...

Oh my, indeed!

Heh.

This is fine art that should be preserved in museum-quality framing forever and ever.

I think we should design vases to look like these! We'd make a fortune!

That is hilarious! She's getting you prepared for THE talk. Save the drawing for when that time comes. It might be a good ice breaker. :)

This year we had a TON of snow on the pond just outside our office building's windows. One afternoon, when schools were closed because of the snow, some adventurous adolescents tromped around in the snow until they had left a lovely message, complete with a drawing similar to the one your daughter drew. And since this is a family blog, I'll just let you all use your imaginations!

The artwork stayed out there on the pond for weeks! Imagine the scurrying around when our big clients came to visit...trying to keep them all from looking out the windows!

Audible gasp here. Hmm, wonder what the Latin name of that particular variety is.

My daughter has drawn something rather similar and my husband thought it was so funny he snapped a picture of it on his phone and would show it to friends. In fact, I remember the first time he showed it to me diet coke came out of my nose.

Maybe you can save that for her rehearsal dinner slide show.

I follow by Facebook several French students who were guests of ours for a few weeks. They must have had a lot of snow in France, because guess what the boys made? Yes, an albino "vase".
