And She's Off!

Praying that this wonderful girl has an awesome first day of school and field hockey game afterward!

We are focusing on this momentous first day of high school with our cutie, and not doing anything special as a family to commemorate the 4th Crapiversary of losing Jack. One of our friends will be planting a beautiful tree at the cemetery for us, and we will go see it in a few days.

I have no wise or beautiful words, but I will say that life is complicated and I'm grateful every day for your love and support.

Sounds like a good plan for today. Prayed for y'all already today and each day when I click onto your blog or recommend your book to someone. May her day, Tim's day and your day be filled with His marvelous presence to give you His joy despite this day of remembrance. Love y'all......K.L.

Hope her first day was great, and that they won the game!

Just finished reading your book, started it when I got home from work last night. Was a fabulous read, you really have a way with words, as well as an ability to figure out what you are/were feeling. I have a person in mind to send it on to, just looking for their address. They may have already received it from someone else, if so, they can pass it on.

oh my Anna, 9th grade?!? How can that be. I adore she plays field hockey, it's hard to find here in colorado, although lacrosse has gotten huge the past few years which makes the New Englander inside me very happy. Sending love and some sunshine from colorado today, I've been thinking of you all day.

I hope Margaret has a great first year of high school. It was a bumpy transition for my girls (now a Senior and sophomore), but they got through it. Margaret looks really self-confident, and that will take her far in the crazy teen girl world.

Hugs and prayers to you for all you are weathering.
