And So It Has Come to This...

Fine. Consider it cruelty animals, but those mousetraps aren’t set (right now, at least) and someone in this house needs to learn that a kitchen table is for eating dinner, not being pranced on by a 60 lb lab every time we leave the house.

This is what we get for living in the woods... Although in the city, it's rats... Okay - maybe the woods aren't so bad!

This is a great plan to keep the dog off the table - but what I'd really like is a camera set to capture the action. Cruelty to animals aside, you might win money with that video!

Our 90lb dog was putting his front paws onto the counter and taking dirty dishes out of the sink, throwing them on the floor and attempting to lick them clean. As much as I'd like help with the dishes, this just wasn't acceptable as food could end up all over. So I thought if I sprinkled a vast amount of red pepper flakes all over the dishes in the sink, he would learn his lesson with one sniff. I was sadly mistaken. He ate the red pepper flakes too and then an even larger, more disgusting mess resulted from his upset stomach. Now, I just have to make sure the dishes are in the dishwasher before we go anywhere.

Wow, Lisa! I can just imagine how miserable your dog was after eating those flakes. Ugh.

Heh, heh! So funny----could you have a video going or is that being truly cruel to want to see it?
