Book Review!

I love hearing how Rare Bird affects people!

For example, here's a lovely review of the book up on Mamalode today.

Perhaps you would be willing to rate/review Rare Bird on Amazon or Goodreads to help readers decide whether they should take a chance on it.

What a wonderful review! I'm reading Rare Bird now - your writing, as always, is beautiful. I'm truly sorry you had to write this particular book - I wish with all my heart it could have been on painting furniture...but it truly will help so many people dealing with their own personal grief. Well done Anna - this will be one book I will be sharing.

Anna, I absolutely LOVED your book and I just reviewed it n Amazon! Only after posting the review, I noticed I was logged in under my husband Richard Menezes's name! You are such a talented author and I truly hope you'll go on to write many more books. Your book(s) will always occupy a place of pride on my bookself. A HUGE fan of yours -- Rupa Rao

Hello Anna,
I just finished your book. It was amazing. My dear friend bought it for me after reading your article. My Jack was killed in a car accident on Sept 4, 2004. He was almost 10 years old. After returning from a family vacation, we were driving to the mall for his school sneakers a few days before school started and I was hit. Luckily my younger son survived and is well. Like you, I thank God they both were not lost to me and this life. You and I are the same age, both boys were named Jack, both had siblings younger by 2 years, we both wrote books. Although mine is a bit different and actually a tangent off of material I started which was very similar to yours. I was swept in another direction. There are many similarities in the story and in our lives. I am a bit further in my journey as we just crossed 10 years. October 20th would have been my Jack's 20th birthday. My living son Steven turned 18 in September. He, like Margaret, has had a journey of his own and he is an amazing young man. For more information see www.kimperone.com. There is contact information and if you would like my book, I will send it to you. God Bless you my friend. Congratulations on a beautiful book that will help so many. You can be sure, I will be purchasing copies for the many parents (sadly) I meet with who go through this loss. --Kim Perone, Scotia, NY

Your book is both heartbreaking and comforting at the same time. You capture grief so well. Thank you for reminding me to look for the rainbows. Nothing is impossible with God. That scripture has changed me thanks to your sweet Jack. Great book.
