If you've ever wondered whether one can scratch a shingle-y head while spray painting, I thought I'd introduce you to 2 of my newest buds.
Gladys:
And her little sister Ethel:
Both were super sturdy and super comfortable.
After a little priming, painting, and stapling, they have a new lease on life.
Gladys now goes by "CoCo," and Ethel would prefer to be addressed as "E-Dawg."
When and if I find the baggie where I put the screws to hook the seats back on, these 2 are going on Craigslist.

I love these! They look so fresh and modern.
Wow, those are some dramatic makeovers! I love them both! That must feel really good to restore something to good use all by yourself. Yay you!
Chair refurbishers anonymous called, they are wondering when you are making another meeting. Just kidding!!! Great job, love your special touches as always!
Love them! I want Ethel!!!
I would love to do that to my dining room chairs. They need it!
Wow, they look great! I love the fabric choice and think E-Dawg's my guy. Hmm. My desk chair is comfy, black yet has a hideous seat. Maybe E-Dawg wouldn't mind having a cousin here on Long Island?
I have a terrible neck pain right now and my word verification just came up "vicatin". So now the word verification gremlins are also drug pushers?
They look awesome! Why aren't you keeping them????
Dear heaven...years ago, when my sister and I were children, we used to leave the dinner table and dash off to our rooms to dress up in shawls and cat eye glasses, then hobble out to the kitchen and exaggerated fake accents, and entertain our parents with made up stories and plays.
Our character names? Gladys and Ethel!
No kidding!
Let's just say, these versions of Gladys and Ethel look a lot better than we could have! Love the makeovers!
Holy creative batman! Wow ... you never cease to amaze me. LOVE the chairs!
They look awesome! Selling them on CL.. smart and fun way to get extra dough!
E-Dawg turned out so beautiful!
I love E-Dawg.
