Hi!

For those of you who don't follow along on Facebook, I wanted to make sure you didn't miss the latest picture of our cutie that I posted yesterday. 30 weeks and doing great! Please keep praying for him, and for me. I am still struggling to get more than a few hours of sleep at night.

  2. Dear Anna, I just finished reading your book, Rare Bird. I cannot imagine what you have been through and how difficult that first year must have been, and that even though the burden may be lighter, the loss of your son will always be with you. I am in the midst of writing a novel and the reason I ordered your book was to understand the grief of the loss of a child. I hope this doesn't sound like I read your book with only my research mind on (I'm a former English teacher too), but I read it with the heart of a mom of three boys, all grown and in their 30's now. I cried several times as I read and felt my heart gripped with pain more than once. When I finished, I came to look up your blog and found myself crying again when I saw the picture of your baby to be. What a wonderful surprise!! I wish you and your family many joyful days ahead, and very few sleepless nights! Much love and happiness to you!!

    Regards,
    Jane

  5. Yay! Such a relief being able to see the baby in the ultrasound, isnt' it? Gives you the extra push you need to make it through those last several weeks. You can do it, Anna!
