She said "I guess our defining moment is all the school shootings, but it's not just one so maybe not". I didn't even know where to go from there.
My friends brother had just started a job at 2 WTC in the summer of 2001 - he had a crappy seat next to a fire exit. Someone knocked on the door and told him to evacuate. He went around the office and told his co workers a bomb had gone off next door and they needed to leave. Investment bankers were about to start their day at 9 a.m. and said no. Bond traders had more time, waiting for the market to open at 9:30, so decided to head down figuring they'd be back up by 9:30.

His floor took the direct hit from the second plane.

As you know life and death are games of inches.twinglesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7334921515741798160.post-76142790809533058282019-09-12T08:59:03.384-07:002019-09-12T08:59:03.384-07:00❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔greenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946915095093524749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7334921515741798160.post-91064452915590911182019-09-12T08:03:37.828-07:002019-09-12T08:03:37.828-07:00I always love reading your words. How do we ever know how we will respond or react when awful, shocking things happen. I try always to keep this mind... to proceed without judgment when I see a reaction I find surprising. But we elect our government to ensure collective wisdom in response. That failure I judge harshly.
