Praying that this wonderful girl has an awesome first day of school and field hockey game afterward!
We are focusing on this momentous first day of high school with our cutie, and not doing anything special as a family to commemorate the 4th Crapiversary of losing Jack. One of our friends will be planting a beautiful tree at the cemetery for us, and we will go see it in a few days.
I have no wise or beautiful words, but I will say that life is complicated and I'm grateful every day for your love and support.
Holding all of you in my heart and thoughts today. Hugs :)

ReplyDeleteHope her first day was great, and that they won the game!
ReplyDeleteJust finished reading your book, started it when I got home from work last night. Was a fabulous read, you really have a way with words, as well as an ability to figure out what you are/were feeling. I have a person in mind to send it on to, just looking for their address. They may have already received it from someone else, if so, they can pass it on.
I hope the day held more smiles than tears.
ReplyDeleteHope High School is wonderful for Margaret and all of you. And sending hugs of comfort.
ReplyDeleteSending love for every and all things. xoxo
ReplyDeleteoh my Anna, 9th grade?!? How can that be. I adore she plays field hockey, it's hard to find here in colorado, although lacrosse has gotten huge the past few years which makes the New Englander inside me very happy. Sending love and some sunshine from colorado today, I've been thinking of you all day.
ReplyDeleteI hope Margaret has a great first year of high school. It was a bumpy transition for my girls (now a Senior and sophomore), but they got through it. Margaret looks really self-confident, and that will take her far in the crazy teen girl world.
