Oh I just had a visit like that also! LOL I have to measure Tucker's food from now on! He gained two pounds from the last visit. He has a thyroid problem and is on medicine, he should be losing not gaining! Good Luck!
Do you know the trick about french cut green beans? If you replace 1/4 cup of their food with green beans (cooked or canned) they don't feel deprived and they lose weight.
So is Shadow going on the green bean diet? Maybe he could try grapefruit juice and cayenne pepper? Just kidding. He looks so affronted, as well he should.
Too funny. That happened to my parents yellow lab too. We adopted our black lab a couple of years ago and he was actually underweight, poor thing. Now he's healthy and we really really try not to give him too many treats so he stays that way! If only we had the same self discipline with ourselves!!
